About the Sutra/Mantra

Chidambara Rahasya Sutra is nothing but a secret sutra/mantra that was kept hidden by the greatest Tamil Siddhar, yogi, and mystic Thirumoolar in verse 909 of Thirumanthiram. The great Thirumalar, who dates back 5,700 years, was in meditation for 3,000 years. Every year he opened his eyes, he sang and wrote a verse, and subsequently ended up writing everlasting 3000 verses that are ever-lasting, defying time.

The Sutra/Mantra is the supreme pathway for self-realization, opening the way to experience the divine presence and bliss within. It is both a potent medicine and a powerful tool, capable of healing physical and psychological problems.

The CHIDHAMBARA RAHASYA SUTRA or MANTRA consists of six chants or mantras that need to be run in the mind for a specific number of times without counting. Each mantra is chanted a certain number of times, which will be explained as we move on. The basic Sutra or Mantra is

Chanted 51 times, which activates the 51 power points or 51 Sakthi Peetams in our body. Once we master the 51-count base Sutra/Mantra, you can progress to the method of chanting the six sets of mantras  255 times, 510 times, 1008 times, and 8000 times within the mind, which will lead to ultimate bliss and self-realization. Some people start experiencing bliss while chanting the 255, 510, or 1008 times itself. It is said that the mind with all 4 layers deep inside can generate around 6 crore thoughts in a second. The sutra occupies the mind completely and is capable of blocking almost all the thoughts that are bifurcated within the layers of the mind.

The 255-count chanting method is called the Panchabhoota (5 Elements – SiVaYaNaMa) Method.

The 510-count chanting method is called the NavaGraha(The 9 Celestial bodies which have an impact on us) Method – 510 Count.

The 1008-count chanting method is called the Nataraja Taandavam(cosmic dance) Method -- 1008 Count.

The 8000-count chanting method is one for ultimate bliss.

All these Methods will be taught in person by students of Sammara Beedam only after you master the base 51 count chanting Method and everything is free of cost.

Words, Thoughts, Action, and Goal, all these 4 are completely occupied in a divine duty while chanting the Sutra. Thus, one's focus and awareness are completely engaged with Sutra. Each chanting is a divine step in your mind/Sitham. It is said that a moment in the mind can generate 6 crore thoughts together with all 4 layers of the mind. When all layers of the mind are occupied in divine duty during chanting the thoughts are substantially reduced and can be completely reduced as you attain mastery over the Sutra.
